"Paris"

Directions: Left Page

  1. Cut pattern paper into various sizes and arrange on black cardstock. Stitch to cardstock using zig-zag stitch. Put aside.
  2. Left hand page- add letter stickers and photo corners to picture. Mount bottom picture on black cardstock and then green cardstock. Set aside. Take pocket and adhere ferris wheel image ( I had to use a circle punch to cut out corner of picture). Tear vellum strip and place over picture, secure to back. Add coin ribbon, secure to back. Trim passport images and secure to inside of pocket. Set aside. Stamp "paris" on transparency using Stayz-on ink. Assemble page by lining up collage images under the Paris title and securing with brads. Secure pictures and pocket to page.
  3. Right hand page- Cut a 3 x 12 inch strip of cardstock for the base of collage strip. Cut strip of pattern paper to size and secure. Place collage images and other paper images on strip, secure. Trim sides. Put aside. Flatten bottle cap and punch out image with circle punch. Adhere to bottom and add crystal lacquer to top, let dry overnight. Take circle chipboard and cover with brass embossing powder. Heat powder. Distress edge with black Stayz-on ink. Adhere Paris/ France medallion paper. Tie ribbon to collage strip, adhere bottle cap and chipboard. Secure to page with glue strips. Print journaling on vellum, leaving space for the rub-on letters. Apply rub-on letters after printing. Secure to page. Circle cut remaining picture and mount on black cardstock, secure with brad.

"Winter Fun"

Directions:

  1. Cut fabric into 11x 11 squares and sew to cardstock. Cut strips of peach paper and adhere to top and bottom of pages. Apply rub- on letters to twill and adhere to layout with adhesive and brad.
  2. Paint white cardstock with peach paint. Let dry. Cut into photo mats and attach pictures using a zig zag stitch on sewing machine. I just held the ribbon in place, any type of adhesive will make your needle sticky. Attach photos to layout with adhesive or brads.
  3. Cut apart collage sheet. Mat 3 pictures on cardstock and attach to right side layout at bottom. Attach remaining images to layout. One image was stamped on with Stayz-on ink, another was accented with microbead photo corners and the last was accented with embossing paste. Use a brass template and lay over corner of image and apply embossing paste using a spatula or wood stick. Lift stencil and let dry. Paste snowflakes were also added to the top and bottom border.
  4. Adhere blue cardstock snowflakes to layout.
