INSTRUCTIONS:
Paint
was applied to plain blue paper with a foam brush, creating textured
photo mats for both photos.
A piece of patterned paper was spiced up with a beautiful stamped
image. I stamped the Pelican in light blue paint, then again
in dark blue paint. I layered several of these images onto the
page. I applied paint to this large Stamp Zia stamp using a foam
brush. Less really is more when applying paint to your stamps!
Foam stamps were used to make the title (the words "Port"
and "Key West"). These were inexpensive foam stamps
from the craft store. Coming in at around $4 per set, they are
a great buy for any scrapbooker! Again with these stamps, apply
a thin layer of paint with a foam brush.
For the letter "E" in Key West, I loaded half of the
stamp with light blue paint and the other half with dark blue
paint.
Lastly, I used the masking technique when layering my images
in the word "West". |
