Directions
Scan photo and
open Kaleidoscope Kreator software. Open file (import scanned
picture) then select lace shape. Place section of photo in
lace template, focusing on the center of the daffodil. Save
and print image (this image is the very left image on the layout).
Using saved
kimage, change shape template to flower and position previous
kaleidoscope in the flower template to create another image.
When placing the image in the template, put the lace edge of
the original kaleidoscope so that it ends up in the center of
the kaleidoscope instead of the outside edges. Print 2nd image
(this image appears 2nd from the right on the layout shown here).
Import the original
photo again. Select the Northern Star shape and position photo,
again focusing on the center of the daffodil. Save image.
Using this saved
kaleidoscope, select the flower shape and position the Northern
Star kaleidoscope image in the flower shape until desired look
is achieved. Print image (this image is 2nd from the left on
the layout shown).
Import the Northern
Star kaleidoscope again. This time select the Northern star
shape again, putting the original Northern Star kaleidoscope
inside another Northern Star shape. Position image and print
when desired look is achieved (image described is shown as the
center flower on the layout).
Import the original
daffodil photo again. Select square shape, position photo (focusing
on the center of the daffodil) and save image.
Using this last
saved image, select the square shape again and place square kaleidoscope
image within the square shape again. Save the image.
Using this last
saved doubled square kaleidoscope image, select the lace shape
and position the double square kaleidoscope within. Move image
around until desired look is achieved. Print image (shown on
the very right of the layout).
Cut out each
of the 5 printed images, including the centers if applicable.
Place on layout and adhere with glue dots.
With a green
pen, make loose, random strokes for the leaves/stems of the flowers
on the layout.
Place buttons
in the centers of each flower.
Cut a strip
of burlap and fray edges by pulling out individual fibers. Stamp
the word "DAFFODILLS" on the burlap, using the same
green pen to ink the stamps.

2 leaves and a button.

sticker strip to the pink cardstock leaving several inches of

Using manila
colored acrylic paint and the floral foam stamp, stamp images
randomly all over the pink cardstock.
Repeat the process
using the white (spotlight) acrylic paint - stamping over the
manila colored image, but turning slightly doubling the petals
on the original image. Let dry.
Place letter
stickers on layout for the title, just below and to the left
of the photo.
Place buckle
on ribbon and adhere to layout, preferable with buckle in the
center of one of the stamped flowers and slightly to the left
to make room for the mini bag on the right.

Kaleidoscopes tag sticker with burgundy cardstock then use rub-ons
