These calendar and alphabet/number sets from Creative Mode are perfect for scrapbooking a child's "Year of Me" album. This is a simple project to complete and uses up those not-so-perfect shots. Follow the format for a year's worth of fond memories!

 Supplies:

  • Circle, Plaid Patterned Paper (Chatterbox)
  • Dark Green, Light Green, Cream Cardstock (National)
  • Dark Blue Cardstock (WorldWin)
  • Arial Computer Font (Microsoft)
  • Rubber Stamps:
    Calendar, Alphabet/Number Stamps (Creative Mode)
  • Star Stamp (Plaid)
  • Green, Blue, Yellow, Black Inks (Close To My Heart)
  • Tags, Fibers, Scissors (EK Success)
  • Brads, Paper Piercer (Making Memories)
  • Adhesive (3M)
  • Paper Trimmer (Genesis)
  • Printer, Printer Ink (Hewlett-Packard)
INSTRUCTIONS:

1.
Trim green cardstock to 8.5 x 11.
2. Trim circle patterned paper to 8.25 x 4 and the plaid patterned paper to 8.25 x 6.75, and adhere to green cardstock background, leaving a ¼" margin around edge.
3. Trim an 8.5 x .5 piece of green cardstock and adhere over seam.
4. Cut a 2" piece of blue cardstock and a 1.5" piece of green cardstock. Cut each at a diagonal to create photo corners.
5. Layer green triangles over blue and pierce with paper piercer. Attach brad and adhere to top corners of layout, according to project picture.
6. Stamp calendar on cream cardstock in black ink. Stamp month name in blue and green inks. Add dates with black acid-free pen, stamping star on key dates. Adhere between corners.
7. Print journaling on light green and cream cardstock (use a 2.25" margin on your computer).
8. Trim pictures, journaling, and photo mats to blocks 2.5" wide by 2.75" long. (If your mat is 2.5 x 2.75, your photo should be 2.25 x 2.5).
9. Arrange on layout according to project photo.
10. Stamp dates on tags with blue and green inks. Tie fibers and trim. Attach to page according to project picture.

**all months have the same format, so you just change the papers**
